Choose to Move is an initiative hosted by Somavive to help people start moving and to encourage others to keep moving. This group will run from May 1-May 31, 2022 and will be used as a fundraiser to support The Myositis Association.
Overview:
Someone should join this group who has been exercising, but wants become more consistent and move more. They will start with a minimum of 18 minutes of exercise 5 days/week and finish with a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise 5 days/week. The goal of this program is to build up to 150 minutes of exercise per week by the end of May.
Recommendations:
Level 2 participants are those who are currently engaged 1-3x’s/week in walking, biking, or other continual movement. They want to build more consistency and duration with their movement.
